So what exactly is Storm The Gates? -What Every Leader Needs To Know...
Storm The Gates is an annual retreat geared to equip, challenge and
encourage spiritually maturing younger adults (18-30+) in their
ongoing
pursuit of an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ while uniting
with co-journeying peers from local bodies of believers in an effort to
experience God, in His fullness, and encourage lifestyles that transcend
lukewarm Laodicean Christian living. (Click Here For

Practically speaking, Storm The Gates 2008 is an “overnighter” retreat that will be held Friday, September 26th at 6:00 pm and will continue through Sunday, September 28th at 11:00 am at the WLD Ranch in Fairview, PA.
Our
goal is to unite spiritually maturing young adults across denominational
lines as we worship, encourage, fellowship and pray for one another as
brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. This year we have asked
Pastor and Assistant Presbyter of the Assemblies of God, Allan Thorpe to
challen
ge us in the following areas over the course of these couple of
days:
Real, Bold and Connected
Real – What does it mean to be a REAL Christian 24/7.
Bold – Boldness in our prayer life and walk with the Lord.
Connected – Connecting with God and other Believers in our community.
We
have once again rented the facility at
WLD Ranch,
and are looking forward to a weekend of rich conversation, worship,
teaching, laughter, tears and the supernatural outpouring of the Holy
Spirit as we seek to meet God face to face and listen to what He has to
speak to us.
In addition to our time of teaching and encouragement with Pastor Allan Thorpe, we will have several “break-out” options of which we will have the opportunity to be challenged and encouraged by various Pastors and Leaders from across the Lake Erie Region as they speak and introduce topics that are relevant to our walk with the Lord today!
We will also be having several “mixer” and outdoor activities over the course of the weekend and will have full access to the facilities of the WLD Ranch. Food and lodging is included in the admission price, so the only things your people will need to bring will be an Open mind, your Bible, Notebook, Pen, Sleeping Bag, Toiletries and several changes of clothes.
