Storm The Gates 2008 - September 26th - 28th WLD Ranch, Fairview PA

 

Storm The Gates is a vision that was placed on my heart during a time of significant prayer and seeking the Lord on behalf of the young adults of our church.

 

While preparing for and speaking during a young adult's retreat a couple of years ago, the Holy Spirit chose to speak to me as well during the event. In its simplest form, He allowed me to see the need for spiritually maturing young adults (18-30+) to be equipped and challenged in their on-going walk with the Lord. Not wanting to be disobedient to God's call, I stepped out in faith and pulled an organizational team together to help organize Storm The Gates.

 

Our first event was in 2005 and we have been amazed at how God blessed our faithfulness and obedience for every event. We are now embarking on year four and have asked Pastor and Assistant Presbyter of the Assemblies of God, Allan Thorpe to be 2008's feature speaker.

 

We have once again secured the WLD Ranch in Fairview, PA to house the event and are in the process of assembling like-hearted people, churches and organizations to participate in Storm The Gates 2008 this fall.

 

For our third annual event, Storm the Gates 2008 will be focused on three major topics:

• Real — What does it mean to be a REAL Christian 24/7.
• Bold — Boldness in our prayer life and walk with the Lord.
• Connected — Connecting with God and other Believers in our community.
